Terms of service.
1. Terms
By submitting for a quote, you are agreeing to be bound by Mango Island’s Terms and Conditions of Use. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you will not be able to purchase a commission from Mango Island.
2. Quotes
All areas of quote form must be filled out properly in order to have the inquiry considered.
Clients must be 18 or older.
Minimum two view character reference must be included with quote form, the views must feature the front and back of the character. More views on your reference will result in a more accurate kigurumi. After down payment a kigu mock-up is included in the price, featuring a front and back view of what your kigu will look like. You may request changes to this mock-up, however once sewing begins changes may require an additional fee.
Quote prices are subject to change and are valid for 30 days from date issued.
Quote does not guarantee a spot in the current queue.
After a quote is issued changes to character or design may incur additional fees.
Mango Island does not guarantee delivery for any specific dates, such as conventions, unless it is a specific circumstance, ie: an auction where a certain limit yields a guaranteed convention pickup.
3. Payment
I require a 30% down payment of your quoted price in order to add you to the queue.
Down payment is non refundable.
Payment must be made in three (3) days of Mango Island sending you an invoice. If payment isn’t received within the allotted time your place in the queue may be forfeit.
Payment options included: Paypal or Square. Please inform me which option you’d prefer on the quote form.
Remainder of payment plus shipping due when project is nearing completion.
If final payment is not made within 30 days I reserve the right to sell the completed item as is, through the webstore.
4. Product
All kigurumis (kigus) are made to order and sized to fit you. Please include proper measurements on your quote form. Do not measure larger, as this will result in an overly large kigu.
Kigus are meant to be baggy pajamas, if you prefer a tighter or specific fit please let me know in the quote form. ie. longer arms, lower crotch, or large cuffs etc.
A perfectly form-fitted kigu is not something I specialise in, our kigus are meant as loungewear and are supposed to be baggy, the straight-leg style offers a closer fit, but keep in mind they are still intended to be fit looser than say, a pair of skinny jeans.
Colours are matched to the best of my ability. Fleece only comes in so many colours, and some colours only have seasonal availability. I keep a large stock on hand to match as well as I can, but please bear in mind that I cannot always match perfectly.
Works in progress (WIP) photos are normally shared on social media such as our twitter or tumblr. Please check these locations for updates and feel free to ask me there for any updates. Be aware I am often working hard and responses may be slow.
If you do not want your kigu posted on social media because it’s a secret or a present please let me know on the quote form.
5. Revisions and Repairs
All work has a 30 day warranty after the date of delivery. Past 30 days I cannot take back any kigus for repair without a fee.
Warranty covers defects in material and workmanship and does not cover normal wear and tear or incorrect sizing due to incorrect sizing information provided on quote form.
If you must return a kigu please return it freshly washed. If your kigu arrives unwashed I will charge you a $50 washing fee to wash your kigu before we can repair it.
All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the client as well as the shipping back to the client after any repairs.
I do NOT offer revisions based on character changes or colour edits after delivery of the final product.
6. Terms
I reserve the right to post any photos that you may take of the finished product to various social media and any Mango Island websites.
I am not liable for any damages or injuries you may sustain from my products.
I do not share your personal information with outside parties.
Anything agreed to in writing by both Mango Island and the client, including emails, is considered a binding contract.
